About My Work

I am an Expressive and Community Artist, Community and Culture Activator, Resilience Coach, and Expert in Cultural Education. My practice is rooted in poiesis—the transformative act of giving shape and meaning to what emerges. Through art, I explore the “in-between spaces” where the tensions and harmonies of life—chaos and order, light and shadow, consonance and dissonance—coexist, find their voice, and evolve into opportunities for connection, integration, and change.

The Japanese concept of Ma, the meaningful space between things, deeply inspires my work. It is in these spaces that creativity thrives, offering a moment to pause, to feel, and to transform. My neurodivergence, an essential part of my identity, informs this exploration. I live it, observe it, and integrate it into my artistic and pedagogical practice, using art as a tool to inhabit the present moment, regulate emotions, and foster resilience—both individually and collectively.

Expressive Arts Facilitation and Community Projects

As a Community and Culture Activator, I have designed and led transformative programs like Integrarte, The Free Space, and Awake the Artist since 2012. These initiatives empower children, youth, and women in vulnerable contexts, applying trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approaches. By leveraging art as a tool for emotional exploration and resilience-building, these programs help participants uncover inner resources, gain perspective, and create meaningful change in their lives.
I have collaborated with kindergartens, schools, youth welfare organizations, family centers, women’s centers, community hubs, and migrant organizations, as well as public and private institutions. Additionally, I have led government-funded initiatives that transform communities, strengthen inclusion, and foster connections through creativity.
Among my artistic and community interventions are public art projects, including murals that tell collective stories, beautify spaces, and strengthen the social fabric. Initiatives like Genau Pankow! exemplify my role as a Community and Culture Activator by using art to welcome refugees, foster intercultural dialogue, and weave networks of belonging and resilience.

Cultural Diplomacy and Collaborations

My commitment to cultural diplomacy has led me to officially represent Mexico at national events in Germany and to collaborate on artistic and cultural projects with companies such as Microsoft/Playstation, Deloitte Mexico, Polaroid, and Tequila Patrón. These experiences have extended my practice as a Community and Culture Activator, demonstrating how art can bridge cultures, celebrate diversity, and inspire innovation.

My Artistic Practice

My work, exhibited in over 70 solo and group shows across countries like Germany, France, Mexico, Italy, Spain, Ireland, and Sweden, is a constant exploration of the “spaces in-between.” Each piece reflects how opposites coexist and transform, offering new perspectives and possibilities for connection. Inspired by my Mexican roots, my life in Berlin, and my ongoing exploration of human tensions, my art invites reflection, transformation, and discovery.

Guided by values of courage, curiosity, compassion, and gratitude, my mission as a Community and Culture Activator is to create spaces where art inspires change, strengthens communities, and turns differences into bridges toward understanding and growth.
